The 2008 Dirt Track Racing Season is upon us. Electric City Speedway's Season Opener is May 3, 2008. Gates open @ 6PM with racing @ 7:30PM. Infrared photography is one of our favorite types of photos to take. With the use of a filter we are able to take a photo in the middle of a summer day and it turns out looking like it was taken in the middle of winter. The Infrared filter filters out all visible color in a scene. Each photo takes up to 30 seconds of leaving the shutter open. After post processing what is originally a red hued photo it turns into something like the photo on the right.

Occasionally, on our scenic shoots we come across some interesting wildlife. This past summer while shooting in Glacier National Park this Columbian Ground Squirrel was chattering away and got our attention. Mountain View Images is trying to come up with a quote for the photo on the left. If you have an idea, please contact us. We will choose our favorite quote and award the submitter with a free portrait session.
