I received my first camera as a birthday gift over 20 years ago. Even back then I was posing my dolls and siblings. In high school I was active in the the Yearbook staff. As time went on I lost the photographic yearning.

My life and passion for photography has come full circle. In the summer of 2006 I was using a small point and shoot camera. Growing up in the dirt track racing community I was taking photos of my dad's #87 Super Stock. Some of the other drivers wanted photos as well. One thing led to another and I upgraded cameras twice. Now I usually never go anywhere without my camera. You never know when the perfect shot is around the corner.

In January of 2007 I compiled a 440 page book with 132 photographers all over the world.

This experience allowed me to explore all avenues of photography and have assistance from some of the most creative minds in the world.

The summer of 2007 I took photos full time at Electric City Speedway. The five month season is too short in my opinion and that led me to look at other avenues of photography.

I also entered photos in the Montana State Fair and took home a first place prize in a Black & White category.

I even had the opportunity to shoot a wedding.

In 2008 I was given the opportunity to submit photos to All the Dirt Magazine and became the go to for the articles as well for both Electric City Speedway and Gallatin Speedway.

A friend had a baby and I have had the privilege of following this little girl through the first year of her life. It has been an experience keeping up with her as she became more active.

As 2009 approaches I plan on expanding my portfolio of portrait photography.
